Siege Survival: Gloria Victis is set in the medieval world of Gloria Victis. Your country has been invaded and your city is under severe siege.
A small group of civilians are trapped in the only remaining stronghold and are the last hope for the defending troops clinging to their lives. You may not be fighting the invaders yourself, but the fate of the city is in your hands.
Support the last soldiers standing against overwhelming enemy forces and hold out until reinforcements arrive. Build your camp, manage resources, craft supplies during the day, and scour the fallen city at night for resources and new civilian recruits.
Peculiarities:
SURVIVE THE SIEGE - What´s left of your city is being defended by a few weary soldiers in dire need of arrows, weapons, and armor, as well as medical care for the wounded. You need this last bastion of defenders to be supplied and maintained in every possible way before their battles every few days; otherwise, the enemy will eventually take the fortress by storm. Not only that, but you also need to protect your civilians and your camp as waves of flaming arrows and giant boulders rain down on you.
MANAGE RESOURCES AND CREATE SUPPLIES - you need better weapons, a roof over your head, hot food and all the other trappings that just exist; and the only way to get them is if you and your team create them. But resources are limited and you will need to support both soldiers and civilians, so find ways to conserve food, develop your infrastructure, and use your supplies more efficiently.
CLEAN THE FALLEN CITY - After leaving the safe haven, you must explore the looted city at night to collect precious resources and help the surviving citizens - or use them. But be careful, enemy patrols keep watching the streets; you have to be smart to stay undetected... and alive. Open routes to other areas, recruit new civilian recruits, and return before dawn to avoid being caught.
PUSH YOUR BACK TO THE WALL - Help will come, but it´s still a few weeks away. And in a siege like this, one dilemma can quickly escalate into another, and very soon you will be faced with a difficult moral choice. The fate of your comrades - and the fate of the city - is only in your hands. There will be hunger, wounds, disease and despair, as well as growing tensions between civilians and defenders. Support your troops or keep your civilians alive? Only you can decide.
