A story about a man who survived the tortures of the Inquisition in the Spanish prison. Hero has been convicted of some crime and tortured. The court sentenced him to death. The convict woke up in complete darkness. He thought he is dead and in the afterlife. Prisoner gathered all her strength and slowly stood up, moved forward and bumped into the wall. Hero remembered horrible stories about the traps of the Inquisition. It was a huge stone chamber with traps.
