C&C Generals Zero Hour on Android — ZeroFront access key | Generals on phone

Generals Zero Hour on your phone with no PC and no cloud streaming. ZeroFront runs the original Command & Conquer: Generals and the Zero Hour expansion natively on Android. Under the hood is the 2003 game engine ported to mobile, not a Windows emulator. This page sells an access key to the app for 30 or 90 days on one device.

The important part first. Game files are not included: you copy your Generals and Zero Hour folders to the phone once, from your own copy (Steam or EA App). The app runs only on Android 9 or newer with a 64-bit CPU. iPhone, Windows and macOS have a blocking price in the options, so a key for them cannot be bought.

WHAT YOU GET AFTER PAYMENT

A key in the ZF-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format and a link to the APK installer on our server. The purchase instructions walk you through installing the app, moving the game folders and entering the key. The subscription starts when you activate the key in the app, not on the purchase date, so you can buy in advance.

FEATURES

Touch controls. A phone has no right mouse button, so gestures replace it. Tap a unit to select it, tap the map to give an order, drag to draw a selection box. One finger pans the camera, two fingers zoom. A 0-9 group panel on the left works like Ctrl+number on PC. Buildings are placed with a tap where they should stand.

Multiplayer. Phones and tablets on the same Wi-Fi network find each other in the LAN lobby; we tested a match on three devices at once. For a friend in another city, the hub has a Generals Online profile login for internet play.

Mods. Contra 009 Final with Patch 3 and Contra 007 are tested on the phone. A mod is added as a separate game folder, with the original Generals kept as the texture base. Ask support about other mods and we will check them.

The hub. Before launch it checks that everything is in place: file access, the Zero Hour folder and the original Generals folder. If something is missing, it tells you what. It also holds your multiplayer callsign, Wi-Fi and VPN status, graphics and language settings.

No microtransactions. No in-game purchases, ads or energy timers. USA, China and GLA campaigns, Generals Challenge and skirmish against the AI work as in Zero Hour on PC.

REQUIREMENTS

Android 9 or newer, 64-bit CPU (arm64). Your own Generals and Zero Hour folders and free space for them. Internet is needed to verify the subscription: offline, the app keeps working for up to 24 hours after the last check. Wi-Fi matches between phones run over the local network.

ONE KEY, ONE PHONE

The key is bound to the device where it was activated. If you change phones, support can move the key to the new one for 200 RUB. When the term is ending, buy a new key on this page or renew the current one from the app: "Access" → "Renew subscription", and the days are added to what is left.

FAQ

Is this the real game or a Play Store clone? The real one: Generals from 2003 and Zero Hour with the original campaigns and balance. Mobile clones with similar names have nothing to do with it.

Do I need a PC? Only to copy the game folders to the phone once. After that you play without it.

Where do I get the game files? From your own copy. Generals and Zero Hour are sold on Steam as part of Command & Conquer The Ultimate Collection and in the EA App.

Why is the ground pink? The original Generals folder is not set: Zero Hour takes terrain textures from it. Fix it in the app settings, "Game data" section.

ZeroFront is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with Electronic Arts. Command & Conquer and Generals are trademarks of Electronic Arts Inc. The app is built on the engine´s open source code (GPL-3.0 license); we do not distribute game files.
