In KILLING FLOOR 2, players travel to continental Europe, where a failed Horzine Biotech experiment has caused a massive outbreak of contamination. It spread with terrifying speed and paralyzed the European Union.

Just a month after the events of the original KILLING FLOOR game, clone specimens have spread everywhere, communications are virtually non-existent, civilization is in decline, governments have fallen, and military forces have been destroyed. The people of Europe have had to fight for survival and self-preservation, and the lucky survivors have gone into hiding.
