When the Worms series turned 21 years old in 2016, British developers and publisher Team 17 launched the Worms W.M.D game, adding modern innovations to the classic mechanics loved by many, weaving the full power of military artillery into the genre of turn–based strategy! Game critics gave the project good marks – 8 out of 10 points for the Russian-language version.

You are the fearless leader of a squad of formidable worms and must wipe out all rivals from the face of the Earth! Each time, choose a worm and a weapon with which you will attack your opponents, and wait for them to get out of their desperate situation. If your fighter loses his health points, he will have to leave the field and turn into a neat gravestone. The round ends when someone is completely destroyed, or, in a time trial, when the level comes to an end and your victory points decide the outcome of the battle.

The two-dimensional graphics in the game are represented by fantastic colorful illustrations with a diverse landscape and many references to modern culture.
