1. Between two parallel plates there is a layer of water 0.5 μm thick. Calculate the pressure compressing the plates if the wetting angle is zero and the surface tension of water is 71.96 mJ/m2. Determine the force that must be applied to tear the plates apart if the size of each is 10*10 cm.
