Solve the previous problem provided that the mass of the moving disk is m1 and its radius is r1, and for the disk at rest, m2 and r2, respectively (Fig. 10.8 a). 10.7. A disk of radius r, moving along an absolutely smooth surface with a speed v, collides absolutely elastically with the same disk at rest. Express the magnitude and direction of the velocity of each of them after the collision as a function of the impact distance d (Fig. 10.7 a). Restrict ourselves to the nonrelativistic approximation.
