In a circuit consisting of resistance R, inductance L and capacitance C connected in series, a source of sinusoidal EMF of constant amplitude and tunable frequency is connected in series. By changing the frequency of the source, it is adjusted to resonance with the frequency of the circuit, then the capacitance of the circuit is halved and resonance is achieved again. Will the current change at resonance? What is the ratio of the resonant frequencies corresponding to the first and second cases?
