A heavy wheel with mass M and radius R rotates on an axis with angular velocity w. A light brake drum of radius r is rigidly connected to the wheel, to which the brake shoe is pressed (Fig. 21). Determine how many revolutions the wheel will make before it comes to a complete stop if the block is pressed by a force F and the coefficient of friction between the block and the drum is k. The entire mass of the wheel is considered concentrated in the rim.
