Two small bodies of mass m each are connected by a rod of negligible mass of length l. The system begins to move from its initial vertical position near a vertical smooth wall. The lower body slides without friction on a horizontal surface, the upper body on a vertical surface (Fig. 5.1). Find the value of the speed of the lower body at which the upper body breaks away from the vertical wall.
