34. Solving a chemistry problem
1. A solution containing proteins: albumin (pI = 4.7), and globulin (pI = 6.4) has a pH = 8.0. What are the charges of these proteins in this solution and to which electrode (cathode or anode) will they move during electrophoresis? Which protein will move faster (assuming that the radii of solvated proteins are the same)?
