The year 864 arrived and Tiber Septim began his crusade to establish an empire in Tamriel, conquering all who stood in his way. Although the Redguards of Hammerfell fought bravely, they ultimately fell to internal rebellion and the might of the Septim forces. Now under Imperial control, the Redguards submit to the oppressive rule of Septim´s servant, Amiel Richton. It is in these circumstances that Cyrus, a Redguard mercenary who has traveled Tamriel for over ten years, begins his adventure. While investigating the disappearance of his sister Isara, Cyrus returns to Hammerfell and becomes embroiled in the political intrigue that surrounds Hammerfell and its inhabitants. While searching for his sister, he must also play his part in this war between the Crowns and the Ancestors.
Redguard takes place 400 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls: Arena and differs from other games in many ways. As a third-person adventure game, it takes off its RPG gloves and instead focuses on taking you on an exciting journey through the eyes of Cyrus. If you´ve been wanting to try out The Elder Scrolls series but weren´t quite sold on the RPG elements like character creation and customization, then this is definitely the game for you. But while we´ve taken a different route, this expansion still contains many of the elements that The Elder Scrolls series is famous for: a vast world, lore-rich storytelling, and compelling characters.
