Super Monday Night Combat borrowed ideas from three great games: DOTA, Unreal Tournament and Team Fortress 2. DotA inherited the basic principles and purpose of the game. Similarly, two teams try to break into the enemy base. In the same way, they fight for it with enemy heroes, turrets and bots. Bots - like creeps in Dota - appear regularly from nowhere and monotonously in one direction. Heroes, as expected, gradually save up money, gain experience and improve skills.
