5. The half-width of the chromatographic peak of acetylene is 1.5 mm. The distance on the chromatogram from the moment of sample injection to the middle of the acetylene peak is 25 cm. Calculate the number of theoretical plates in this column and the number of HETP if the column is 1 m long.
