16. The optical density of standard solutions of acid red and acid blue, containing 0.0600 mg/ml of the dye, was measured at l = 1.0 cm, λeff = 500 nm: A500, red = 0.250, A500, blue = 0.540 and at λeff = 440 nm : A440, red = 0.740, A440, blue = 0.380.
A portion of the dye solution with a volume of 10.00 ml was diluted with water in a volumetric flask with a capacity of 100.00 ml and the optical density was measured in a cuvette with l = 1.0 cm at the indicated wavelengths. Calculate the concentration (g/l) of dyes for the following options: 1) A500 = 0.320; A440 = 0.650 2) A500 = 0.430; A440 = 0.560; 3) A500 \u003d 0.530; A440 = 0.720.
Answer: 1) 0.452; 0.146g/l; 2) 0.274; 0.351 g/l; 3) 0.369; 0.418 g/l.
