4. At 25 C, the equilibrium concentrations (mol/l) of iodine in the water layer and in the carbon tetrachloride layer are 5.1610-5 and 4.41210-3. Calculate the distribution coefficient of iodine between water and CCl4 and determine the equilibrium concentration of iodine in water if, after shaking the solution with CCl4, the concentration of iodine in the organic layer became 0.1088 mol/l.
