DESCRIPTION
48. Solving a chemistry problem
1. Using the method of ion-electron balance, complete the reaction equations:
KMnO4 K2SO3 H2O → MnO2 K2SO4 KOH
I¬2 HNO3(p-p) → HIO3 NO H2O
Cl2 KOH → KCl KClO3 H2O
Determine the equivalence factor (f=l/z) for the oxidizing agent and reducing agent in each reaction.
Calculate the molar mass of the equivalent of the oxidizing agent in the 1st reaction.
