2.3 A column of mercury was drawn into the capillary to a height of 7.3 cm. In this case, the weight of mercury is 1.3955 g. When the capillary is lowered into water, the latter rises in the capillary to a height of 2.25 cm. Determine the surface tension of the water. The density of mercury is 13.56 g/cm3.
