1. The optical absorption of a solution of a substance in a cell with l=3 cm is 0.750. A standard solution containing 5 mg/dm3 of the same substance has Ast=0.550 in a cuvette with l=5 cm. Determine the concentration of the solution (in mg/dm3).
Answer: 11.36 mg/dm3.
