1. The molar absorption coefficient of the complex of beryllium with acetylacetone in chloroform is 31600. Determine the percentage of beryllium in a sample of 5 g dissolved in 50 cm3 if the optical density of the solution after appropriate treatment in a 2 cm cuvette is 0.948.
