1. When burning 1 kg of fat, about 3.2 * 104 kJ of heat is released. Let us assume that an overweight person is due to the deposition of fat. Calculate the distance that a person needs to run in order to “lose” 1 kg of weight, assuming that 400 kJ / km is expended during a moderate run at a speed of 12 km / h.
