Calculate the particle radii of three monodisperse fractions of mercury sulfide (insoluble solid, density 8.17 g/cm3), knowing the time it takes them to settle from an aqueous suspension by 1 cm: fraction #1 in 5.86 s, #2 in 9.77 min and # 3 at 4:28 p.m. At the experimental temperature, water has a density of 0.9991 g/cm3 and a viscosity of 1.135 cps.
