Calculate the thermal effect of the same reaction 2SO2 O2 = 2SO3 at 400 K. The heat capacity in J/(mol K) is expressed by the equation CP0=a bT c΄/T2 or CP0=a bT cT2. Take the coefficients a,b,c,c΄ from Table 2.
Note: in table 2, you should pay attention to the factors of the coefficients a, b, c, c΄. For example, the entry b·103=0.67 (for chlorine) means that the true value of the coefficient b=0.67/103= 0.67·10-3.
