Calculate the molar concentration of copper ions in the solution if, when analyzing 15.0 ml of this solution, the height of the polarographic Cu2 reduction wave was 20.0 mm, and after adding 2.0 ml of a standard 0.0530 M copper(II) chloride solution, the wave height increased to 24.3 mm. Draw a polarogram of the analyzed solution before and after adding the standard solution, if E1/2 of copper ions is -0.54 V. Which working electrode should be used in the determination and why?
