111. Solving a chemistry problem

Based on the position of rubidium in the periodic system of chemical elements, characterize the electronic structure of its atoms and the redox properties of the element, namely:
a) determine the total number of electrons, the number of valence electrons and the maximum oxidation state, the number of electron layers;
b) write down the electronic formula of the valence sublevels and determine which electronic family (s-, p-, d-, f-) the element under consideration belongs to;
c) what properties - metallic or non-metallic - are characteristic of the element in question (motivate the answer);
d) which element of the period to which the element under consideration belongs is the strongest reducing agent (motivate the answer);
e) which element of the subgroup in which the element under consideration is located has the highest electronegativity value (motivate the answer).
