Determine the molar extinction coefficient of potassium chromate if the relative optical density of a 2.65×10-3 M potassium chromate solution, measured at λ=372.5 nm in a cuvette with l=2.3 mm in relation to a reference solution containing 1×10 -3 mol/l potassium permanganate, was equal to 1.38.
