What is the degree of dissociation of formic acid in 0.5 N. solution, if it is known that the concentration of hydrogen ions in this solution is 0.01 mol/dm3. Will the degree of dissociation of the acid and its dissociation constant change: a) when the solution is diluted with water; b) when adding potassium formate to a solution?
