The sedimentation limit (border between the cloudy and clear parts of the solution) of serum globulin in phosphate buffer solution at 26 °C was measured as a function of time at a centrifuge speed of 44,000 min–1:

Based on these data, determine the sedimentation coefficient, as well as the molar mass of the protein, knowing that the diffusion coefficient is 5.27 × 10–7 cm2/s, the specific partial volume of the protein is 0.745 cm3/g, and the density of the buffer solution is 1.013 g/cm3.
