If at equilibrium the concentration of the colloid is 0.80 mmol/l on the surface of the solution and 1.0 mmol/l at the bottom, a) what is the height of the liquid column in the vessel ? b) what is the concentration at a height of 0.1 m from the bottom? c) what is the number of moles of colloid in a layer from 0 to 0.1 m from the bottom, if the cross-sectional area of a cylindrical vessel is 20 cm2.
