DESCRIPTION
140. Solving a chemistry problem
When changing the viscosity of solutions of polystyrene in toluene using a capillary viscometer, the following data were obtained:
Concentration of solution С, g / l 0 1.7 2.1 2.5 2.9 3.4
Solution flow time t, s 96 114 117 122 128 133
Calculate the values of the relative, specific, reduced viscosity of polymer solutions and plot the dependence of nsp / C = f (C). Determine the intrinsic viscosity n and the value of the viscometric constant of Huggins K.
