All aspects of The Anacrusis are controlled by AI Director 2.0. She spawns enemies, channels bosses, places weapons, gadgets, and healing items. The difficulty of the test will always match your skills. Moreover, AI Director 2.0 creates spectacular moments that you will definitely want to discuss with friends.
Fantastic weapon against aliens
Use an impressive arsenal of classic sci-fi weaponry to counter the alien threat. Buy some time with a Stasis Grenade, throw a defensive grenade to provide cover for your healing, and bring your friends back to life with the Resurrect. Or drop all caution and grab a laser rifle to burn everything around - both friends and enemies.
Get new perks and change the way you play
Matter compilers scattered throughout the levels provide access to a variety of power-ups to change the way you play. Apply all of the upgrades to power up your Last Chance Pistol, or bolster your defenses with a powerful Defensive Momentum. Unlock new power-ups as you play and share them with the rest of your team!
The battle for survival is just the beginning
The first season of The Anacrusis will tell the story of four characters who are lucky enough to survive, but not lucky enough to become unwitting front line soldiers in humanity´s war against an alien threat - Nessa, Guyon, Liu and Lance. Play and unravel the mystery of the origin of the evolving alien aggression.
