Determination of the required power of a shaft resistance furnace with a chamber dimensions of 5.5x6.5m. Heating temperature no more than 1000 degrees. Heating rate - 70 degrees per hour. Loading no more than 16 tons (carbon steel). The dimensions of the furnace are determined by the dimensions of the annealed products. The calculated power takes into account the useful power for heating the workpieces and the estimated losses through thermal insulation.
