A flat capacitor has as an insulating layer a glass plate with a thickness of d = 2 mm and an area of S = 300 cm². The capacitor is charged to a potential difference U = 300V, after which it is disconnected from the voltage source. Determine the mechanical work A to be done to remove the glass plate from the capacitor. (Do not take friction into account.)
