The potential difference between the plates of a flat capacitor, located at a distance of d = 1 cm from each other, U = 300 V. A plane-parallel plate of paraffin with a thickness of d₁ = 0.5 cm is placed in the space between the plates. Find in each layer: a) the electric field strength E₁, E₂; b) drop in potentials U₁, U₂; c) bulk energy density w₁, w₂.
