In this devastated world, the fading of the planet’s resources has divided what remains of humanity in two: urban freedom fighters, Remnants, and the technologically advanced Ascension Corporation. Now they have to confront a new threat, the invasion of brutal aliens, Hi-Genti, without stopping a desperate internecine war for superiority and survival. Over the course of many missions, you will have the opportunity to command various characters on behalf, perform various combat missions using different tactics and weapons for each faction, even modify the landscape and transform troops. Maelstrom gives you power over the forces of nature in the craziest, most destructive and total action real-time strategy of 2007.

Change the landscape and use the elements as a strategic weapon: you can create valleys, dig up lakes, freeze water, melt ice, create tornadoes and even control the wind.
As the game progresses, the characters gain experience and new skills.
