Spintires is an off-road driving simulator. The player will have to carry goods on Soviet all-terrain vehicles in the dense Russian taiga, where there are virtually no paved roads, but only impassable forest clearings.

The main feature of the game is the deformable road surface, which allows the implementation of the Havok physics engine. Cars can leave behind ruts on the road, making it difficult for subsequent travel, to dig in with wheels in soft soil. Depths after this also remain.

Thanks to the unique technology of the Havok Physics engine, the environment changes every time you decide to go through the next track. Exciting off-road racing is by no means reduced to exorbitant speeds; to win the races you have to make a lot of effort.
