DESCRIPTION:
Brutal Legend tells of a rocker named Eddie Riggs, who is "the best assistant in the world in organizing rock concerts." The name Eddie Riggs refers to the mascot of Iron Maiden Eddie and his creator, artist Derek Riggs. The game begins the night before the rock concert of the best rock band in the world. Adjusting the guitar, Eddie accidentally wounds himself and the blood from the wound falls on the buckle of his belt, which in fact is the amulet of Ormagodin, "A fiery creature, a sky burner and a destroyer of the ancient world." Waking up, Ormagodin teleports Eddie to a parallel world inspired by Norse mythology and heavy metal in which people were enslaved by demons.
