"Level 2.0: Risen" - the first edition of the second line, which changed the name of the module "User Levels". The second line focuses on the very component of users, while the first one developed exclusively the levels themselves.

The main difference between Level: Risen from the first line was completely new code, working as an API and a new formula for calculating levels, which now can control the size of the requirements to the level without setting too low or too high requirements. But first things first...

- Brand new code
To replace the old, confusing and amusing code came a new, light code, based on the type of API.
Thus, unlike the old module, this one supports easy integration with any third-party modules and scripts.
-New formula for calculating levels
The formula for the levels in previous versions was not bad, but it was not ideal. In connection with this, a new formula was written, which this time became much more thoughtful and capable of setting requirements for experience in such a way that they were not too low or too high. Thanks to this in the first stages, the set of levels is fast enough, but it does not cost to write a couple of comments, and for hundredths it will not be necessary to write a million news items.
-Corrected add-ons
The old additions were rewritten and integrated with the main module. Now after installing the main module, you no longer need to sit for an hour and prescribe the code for the add-ons.
-New fields for profile
New fields for the profile with autocomplete when authorizing through the social network, which will greatly simplify the life of the owners of sites that use this function.
-Formation of the free edition
FREE-Edition - a demo version of the module, which includes only the system.
In this edition, the levels are limited to 5, the generation formula is replaced by static values, and the code itself is simplified to the maximum and is qualified.
-Additional tags
A small and pleasant novelty, allowing to use all available tags in login.tpl.
-New installer
Earlier, the installation of the module was very long and complicated. It was necessary to change this.
In Risen you will find a single, full-fledged installer with lending-page elements, and the installation itself was simplified and divided into stages.

Despite the fact that major updates do not come out often, updates for the second line are already planned, among them:
-Extension of content filters by level
-System of bonus experience, holidays and promotional codes
-Power filters for geotargeting banners
-Systems "Titles" and "Achievements"
-Integration with DLE-Billing and a lot of paid functions
-Systems of accounting for user activity
And as a lot of additional functionality in the upcoming 8 global updates.
