2. A sports equipment factory offered a batch of skates with boots to a voluntary sports society. The proposal was accepted by the society, but with the proviso that the sports equipment should be handed over before the start of the winter season. The exchange of letters took place in July.
In early October, the factory shipped the entire batch of goods to the sports society, but it refused to accept it and pay the bill.
The factory appealed to the company with a claim to recover from it the cost of the delivered skates with boots, which it accepted for safekeeping. In the objection to the claim, the company indicated that, having not received a response to its letter containing a reservation, it considered itself free from obligations and entered into an agreement with another manufacturer of sports equipment.
Is the stated requirement subject to satisfaction?
3. The drivers of the Revdinsky city bus depot went on strike because the administration did not satisfy their demand for a pay increase. The decision to strike was taken by a majority of votes at a meeting of the collective.
